Complete modernization of a SharePoint platform through cloud migration and SPFx development with React
Context
The organization was using an outdated on-premises SharePoint environment with significant limitations:
- outdated interface and inconsistent user experience
- lack of modern functionality: dynamic WebParts, Teams integration, mobility
- high maintenance costs and performance issues
- inability to scale for new applications
- manual workflows slowing down team operations
To increase efficiency and modernize internal workflows, a transition to SharePoint Online and reimplementation of digital components using a modern framework was required.
Implemented solution
Migration and modernization were carried out in three phases:
